After-School Care Information

Greater Austin YMCA partners directly with Joslin to provide convenient after-school care on campus, eliminating the need for transportation. Ages 4+. YMCA offers:

  • affordable rates

  • financial assistance available

  • CCS (Child Care Services) families welcome

Can you register at YMCA Extend-A-Care if you do not yet have your Joslin Elementary offer letter?

Yes, you can register for YMCA if you do not yet have your offer letter, but you will be out your deposit if you do not attend a YMCA Extend-A-Care in the Fall. You may be able to transfer your registration to or from another school location, depending on space and availability.

Can you register with YMCA Extend-A-Care if you do not yet have your child's AISD student ID?

Yes, enter N/A under student ID. Then you can update your student's records at a later time with the YMCA once you have their student ID
